How Evil Prince Powers of Darkness have kidnapped the Middle East region and stirred up the Spirit of the Medes and the Persians

Robert Rite 4/29/17 – In last week’s message we covered the King of the East (China including perhaps North Korea). In this message we will discuss Russia (Magog, the King of the North) and its end time alliance with Iran.
When we study God’s word with spiritual eyes we can more clearly understand how the enemy of this world (Satan) is “hell” bent on establishing a One World Government and religion so that he can consolidate absolute power, thinking that this way he can finally defeat the sovereign God of the universe. Understand that all of the wars and rumors of wars escalating of late are potential fodder for the coming global government. It is already becoming clear that a vast number of the inhabitants of the earth, will soon be deceived into embracing a global government and a universal religion believing a lie that it will end all wars, holy wars, starvation, poverty, crime, global warming and the like.
In order to expedite his objective of destroying God’s chosen people (the Jews and the body of Christ), and annexing God’s Holy Land (Jerusalem and Israel), the enemy would love nothing more than having Israel’s protector and big brother, America, taken out of the picture. He sees this as a necessity in order to gain absolute control over the earth. I think the devil is even more determined to take us out now that America has a more nationalistic agenda and has reconfirmed its commitment to protect Israel’s national interests. So it is interesting how we hear Iran and its terrorist factions constantly shouting crazy and alarming things like “death to Israel, and death to America“. This is exactly what the devil would be shouting if we could hear him. And the deceived of this world probably think that these terrorists are merely expressing “freedom of speech”!
It should not be that difficult to understand that all of this everlasting hatred that we are witnessing coming out of the Middle East, and other parts of the world is influenced by the prince of darkness. He is clearly winning the battle but he will most assuredly lose the war (read Rev. 20:10)!
Why Satan wants Control of all Jerusalem?
The enemy knows the scriptures more than most of us. He knows that Messiah will return to Mount Zion, Jerusalem to establish His everlasting kingdom on earth. The devil knows that he is not invited to this party, so he is “hell” bent on preventing it.
Mount Zion is the spiritual name the Jews gave to Mount Moriah, better known as the Temple Mount. It is the most contested parcel of land in the whole world! Wonder why? Because God will establish His everlasting kingdom over Jerusalem, Israel and the surrounding area; and the prince of this world has deluded all the kingdoms of earth into believing that Jerusalem belongs to the nations and NOT to the Lord!
God has even revealed to us the dimensions of the coming New Jerusalem. It will be 12,000 furlongs cubed which is approximately 1,500 miles on each side, and 1,500 miles high (read Revelation 21:16). Plenty of space for all of us – just make sure that you have made your reservations!
The Ezekiel 38 Invasion Force is already situated near God’s Holy Land
We know that Satan controls the kingdoms of the earth by influencing the minds of man; and particularly its kings and leaders. Mankind is doing the enemies dirty work. For example, the United Nations (a precursor to the global government) blames Israel for all the unrest in the Middle East while ignoring the atrocities being committed right now against Jews, Christians and innocent families in Syria, the Middle East region and the world.
As another example, just recently, Israel was greatly condemned for bombing a munitions facility in Syria, which was done to protect lives by destroying weapons of mass destruction. However the bombing of thousands of innocent civilians resisting the Syrian regime is all but ignored. This lunacy only makes sense when we understand that Satan and his many followers are masters at calling evil good and good evil (Isaiah 5:20); sadly the uninformed believe these lies!
So today we have Russia, Iran, Turkey and their terrorist groups such as Hezbollah committing atrocities while establishing a stronghold in Syria just miles from the Israeli border. We see the strongest of the nations listed in Ezekiel Ch. 38 (Russia, Iran, and Turkey) already in position – poised just miles from Israel’s northern border.
Although some believe that this is just a local civil war, those who study end time prophecy understand that this represents a clear and present danger for all civilization.
BTW, in Ezekiel 38 Russia, Turkey and Iran are called by their ancient names as listed below, based on the territory they now occupy:
Russia: Magog
Turkey: Meshech and Tubal
Persia: Iran
NOTE: Russia further fits the identity of Magog when she is described as coming from the “far north” (Ez. 39:2). Russia is situated at the farthest northern point from Israel.
The Prince Powers of Darkness are also situated near God’s Holy Land!
Being a cunning warrior, Satan has positioned his most powerful prince spirits (fallen angels) in close proximity to Israel. Indeed the enemy has stirred up the spirit of the Medes and Persians (Iran and Russia) in these last days.
NOTE: In ancient times the area of Persia may have included parts of southern Russia under the Achaemenid Empire.
We read in the bible of one such prince power that controls the area of Persia, the ancient name for Iran (read Daniel 10:13). Another powerful prince spirit is called GOG (Ezekiel 38:2; 38:17 and Rev. 20:8) it influences the area of Russia and Turkey. This explains why Gog of Magog rages war against God both before and after the Millennium – because Gog appears to be the chief prince power (fallen angel) of Satan!
How interesting that the most powerful prince powers (fallen angels) are situated in the areas controlled today by Russia, Iran, and Turkey, the three lead nations that are to invade Israel and trigger Armageddon (the Apocalypse)!
How powerful are they? Well it took God’s chief warrior Arch-Angel Michael (Israel’s protector) 21 days to defeat the Prince of Persia who was preventing Daniel from receiving key end time prophetic revelation from Gabriel – God’s chief messenger Arch-Angel (read Daniel 10:13).
We read how during the apocalypse 4 powerful fallen angels (prince powers of darkness) will be released from the area of the Euphrates River, once again smack in the middle of the Middle East (read Revelation 9:14)!
If that does not explain to you why there is so much hatred and violence in the Middle East region perhaps this will:
In Revelation 2:13 Jesus is addressing the church of Pergamos, and reveals that she is situated where Satan’s throne is (perhaps a demonic portal to the abyss is located somewhere in that area). Once again we find that Pergamos was an ancient city situated in modern day Turkey!
As we already know Turkey is one of the lead nations that invades Israel in the Gog/Magog war! Once again the scriptures reveal how Satan has a stronghold in the whole Middle East area. Satan apparently subscribes to the saying “keep your enemies closer”; and God’s people and Holy land are his chief enemy!
Folks, God’s angelic forces and our fervent prayers are the only thing preventing doomsday from happening this very instant. But God will soon withdraw His hedge of protection and the restrainer from an unappreciative and unrepentant world to allow all hell to break loose on earth – as we now read in Rev. 17:17
For God has put it into their hearts to fulfill His purpose, to be of one mind, and to give their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God are fulfilled. (Rev. 17:17)
This my friend explains such great everlasting hatred throughout the world today. The earth is heating up, but it is not global warming, it is God’s warning that Satan and all his demon forces are full of wrath in these last days, because they know they have a short time to unleash their evil (read Rev. 12:12).
Why is America and the West not involved in the Ezekiel 38 war?
Some prophecy scholars believe that Baylon the Great is America. I have written a book and several articles on this so I will not elaborate on this today, other than to say that Babylon the Great is referred to as the Hammer of the Whole Earth in Jeremiah 50:23, and there should be ZERO doubt that America most certainly fits the description of the Hammer of the Whole earth, even more so today with a new administration in Washington willing to demonstrate its vast military superiority.
So assuming this invasion occurs in the near future, why would America, Israel’s chief protector not defend her when she is invaded by the Ezekiel 38 nations? Considering America’s more aggressive military posture of today, it is less likely that she will stand down by choice, and more likely that somehow America will be neutralized when or before this invasion takes place.
Based on Jeremiah 50, 51, and Revelation 17 and 18, the more likely scenario would be that America, and perhaps some of its western allies, may be neutralized by sinister methods or by some natural calamity, such as an asteroid impact. America’s enemies are within miles of Israel’s northern border today. Do you really think they would be able to successfully invade Israel with the Hammer of the Whole Earth (America) having Israel’s back? While America has Israel’s back, Russia has Iran’s back. This spells stalemate at best and WW3 (Armageddon) at worst!
In ancient times the Medo-Persian empire conquered ancient Babylon. Since history tends to repeat, will the spirit of the Medes and Persians rise again in these last days to conquer Babylon the Great? (Jeremiah 51:11)
What Could Trigger the Ezekiel 38 War?
There are way too many potential scenarios here. Especially since the UN and most nations already hate Israel (which BTW also fulfills end time prophecies). Below are just three possibilities that line up with end time bible prophecy.
1) Iran was also referred to as Elam in ancient prophecy. Iran’s nuclear facilities are also believed to be located in Elam. Should Iran attempt a pre-emptive missile strike on Israel, I believe Israel would promptly destroy Iran’s nuclear facilities in Elam. This scenario is actually supported by Prophecy (read Jeremiah 31:45). Such an attack could easily escalate into WW3.
2) Iran has long been a supporter of Hezbollah and other Islamic terrorist groups. Hezbollah currently has an enormous cache of ballistic missiles (apparently in Damascus). They are all aimed at Israel. Should they attempt to launch an attack on Israel, Isaiah 17 could immediately be fulfilled (in the form of Israel wiping out Damascus), and Armageddon would probably follow shortly thereafter.
3) In an attempt to knock out what it perceives as a threat to its existence, Israel might unintentionally target and destroy Russian or Iranian assets or soldiers, triggering the Ezekiel 38 invasion.
God revealed to us thousands of years ago, the things that will occur at the time of the end – TODAY. But it is only over the past few years that we, the last generation, are witnessing the prophecies of Ezekiel, Daniel, Isaiah and Revelation being fulfilled before our eyes.
Wars and rumors of wars are all over the place today because God is trying to get our attention and to draw as many as He can back to Him before it is too late.
We who keep the Word of God know the ending – God wins! And it will not go well for the kingdoms of this world controlled by the prince of this age.
The Good news despite all the chaos of late is that WE are on the right side, and
worse come to worse…
may America continue to defend God’s People and God’s Land until Kingdom Comes!
In the meantime there persists a massive supernatural battle going on all around us between the angelic forces of God and the demonic forces of Satan; they are fighting for our very soul. The battle that rages all around us also rages inside each of us as evil thoughts try to suppress our godly thoughts and character. We can and will defeat the enemy when we stay focused on God’s word; keeping the Lord first in everything that we think, say and do. We must put on the whole armor of God (read Ephesians 6:11).
