Robert Rite (5/01/16) – What a shame that most people forsake or ignore the divine prophecies of the bible, while embracing the prophecies of Casey, Nostradamus and other men.  The former have all come to pass while the latter have been mostly folly.  As such, many people are unaware that the ancient prophecies warned of terrorism; and they warned that it would be more common and widespread at the time of the end.  Once we realize that the ancient prophecies not only applied to Israel and the ancients, but to all the nations throughout this age – then it all starts to make more sense.

Why does God allow Terrorism?

In Rev. 17:17 – God declares: “For God has put it into their hearts to fulfill His purpose, to be of one mind, and to give their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God are fulfilled.” 

In other words, God has allowed for these things to happen in order that the end time prophecies are fulfilled.

This prophecy is also a warning that God will allow wars, terrorism and all related atrocities (which are a result of rampant iniquity),  in order to fulfill the prophecies for the end of days.

Terrorism may be one of the factors that leads to an outcry for security via a global government (which is what Revelation chapters 13 and 17 are all about).  Fear and terror are prophesied for all nations that have forsaken the precepts of the Lord, including those who have been blessed by God; yet rejected His name and deity.  These will lose the veil of protection that God placed upon their household and nation.

Now let’s review a few other scriptures that address terrorism:

Again, please remember that the warnings that God gave to the Israelites also apply to all the nations, past and present.  Israel was God’s conduit to the nations, the custodian of God’s word, from which the commandments, and blessings would flow out – to all the nations.

Leviticus 26:16 – warns that God will appoint terror upon the nations that break His covenants.

Deuteronomy 32:25 – warns that there shall be terror within; meaning inside the nation.

Ezekiel 21:12 – seems to infer that the sword (as in beheading) will be the preferred tool used by those who inflict terror.

Psalms 73:12, 19 – reveals that nations who live in relative peace and enjoy great wealth will be particular targets for terrorism.

Proverbs 1:25-27 – warns and reveals that terrorism will be allowed by God because the nations disregarded His statutes and His warnings.

Ecclesiastes 12:5 – the people and the nations will be afraid of terrorism; indicating that these attacks will not be isolated and exponential.

Isaiah 9:9-11 – Now this passage may have been a direct prophecy on 9/11/2001!  Let’s review further…

Was 9/11 Prophesied in Isaiah 9-9-11?

In 2001, a leading US congressman recited Isaiah 9:10 after the Twin Towers collapsed following the 9/11 terrorist attacks.  here is the passage:

^“The bricks are fallen down, but we will build with hewn stones: the sycamores are cut down, but we will change them into cedars.” Is. 9:10

But he left out a key portion of the passage!  When one carefully studies the entire passage, adding the prior passage Isaiah 9:9 – the heart of the message changes entirely!  Let’s read:

⁹ And all the people shall know, even Ephraim and the inhabitant of Samaria, that say in the pride and stoutness of heart,
¹⁰ The bricks are fallen down, but we will build with hewn stones: the sycamores are cut down, but we will change them into cedars.
¹¹ Therefore the Lord shall set up the adversaries of Rezin against him, and join his enemies together;”  Isaiah. 9:9-11

So Isaiah 9:9-11 is actually a warning against nations that have grown arrogant and prideful, rather than a call for resilience!  And the last verse in the passage, Isaiah 9:11 – “…and join his enemies together”, foretold exactly what has happened today – that the terrorists are attempting to unite via an end time caliphate led by ISIS!

How eerie that Isaiah 9:9-11 contains the numbers 9 & 11!

Did you catch that?

This passage may indeed be a prophecy about 9/11!  How ironic that the prophecy was then cited the following day by a representative of our nation!. 
I believe that 9/11/2001 was a wake-up call of things to come to America and a world that has become arrogant against the Almighty and has forsaken His precepts.

As you can see, the ancient prophecies make it clear that there will be no solution to the global terrorist threat or the coming world war that seems to already be fomenting in the Middle East.  Terrorism is on the rise, unlike what some may want you to think. The only solution is the solution that a lost world wholeheartedly rejects; submission to the sovereign God and His statutes of moral governance and laws, which applied not only to Israel but to all the nations; past and present.

The world will eventually make a choice to unite under the guise of harmony, peace and security.  Unfortunately, their choice will be much worse than the problem.  Revelation chapters 13, 16, 17, 18, among other end time prophecies make it clear that this global government will have been the enemy’s final scheme to gather the masses together – so as to more readily lead the sheep to wholesale slaughter.  Like the Nazi regime, Satan will initiate a “final solution” at the time of the end, and many will be martyred, but like the third Reich, his beast kingdom will lay in ruins on the “Great Day of God Almighty” (Rev. 16:14; 17-20; Rev. 20:10; Rev. 21:1)

So we can find hope and solace in knowing that despite all of the devils evil schemes & plans, Almighty God remains in full control.
Our faith, prayers and love for Him is the veil of protection for our loved ones and our household for the perilous times ahead!
