Unlocking the Mystery of the Hebrew year 5777 Second Coming

Robert Rite 7/7/17 – The Hebrew year 5777 which is the equivalent of the year 2017 in the Gregorian calendar, is a very prophetic and mysterious year as we will uncover in this message.  The year that ends in 777 is very rare and occurs only once every 1,000 years.    

The Lord declares that a day is as 1,000 years (2 Peter 3:8), hence the belief that the age of man is 6000 years and then begins the millennium the 7th 1000 year period; a period of rest from Satan’s torments.  God reminds us of this divine plan every week of our life with the weekly cycle; 6 days of work and then a 7th day of rest – a Sabbath to focus on the Lord instead of the struggles of this life.

Some background on Number 7

Let’s start by understanding the biblical significance of number 7.
Number 7 is associated with “completion” and is considered by Hebrew scholars and many Christians as the most sacred number in Scripture.

Number 7 is a very divine and prophetic number. It appears 54 times in the book of Revelation alone!  If we include all biblical references to seven, our total jumps to 860 references.  Number 7 is one of the foundations for unlocking the mystery of the prophecies in God’s word.

For example, in the book of Revelation there are:

– seven churches
– seven angels to the seven churches
– seven seals
– seven trumpet plagues
– seven thunders
– seven vial judgments
– the resurrection of the dead on the 7th trumpet

And that is just 7 of 54 references to 7 in the book of Revelation.  There are also 7 days in the weekly cycle, and 7 holy feast days of God, to mention just a few of the 860 references. 

Letters in Hebrew contain numbers and images. Number seven in Hebrew is “Zayin”.  Zayin (#7) refers to a crown and a sword.  Let’s explore further.

The Hebrew Year 5777

5777 is the Jewish year that began at sunset on October 2, 2016, and ends on 10/2/2017.  In the Hebrew text, each letter of the alphabet has a specific numerical value.

Not only is the year 5777 a prophetic year in and of itself, but there is many more signs connected to the year 2017:

1) It follows a sign, a tetrad which is a series of 4 blood moons in 2014/2015.  
2) 5777 will be the 50th Anniversary of Israel’s reunification with the Holy Capital of Israel – Jerusalem
3) this 50th anniversary is a Jubilee year, which is comprised of 7 Hebrew Shmita year cycles.
4) 2017 marks the beginning of the 70th year of the rebirth of the nation of Israel
5) There is also an alignment of the stars on 9/23/17 which some equate as the fulfillment of Revelation 12:1

As I indicated previously, Zayin (#7) is one of the final Hebrew letters, and when used in a sentence it has a decorative crown that scribes create on the top of the letter. The rabbinical interpretation is that it can represent the “crowning of a man.”.  But note that Zayin (#7) also refers to a “sword” which is a symbol of judgment.  So I believe that the year 5777 may also trigger a time of judgment.  I also believe that 777 may refer to the crowning of the Messiah as the King of Kings; and His subsequent return with a sharp sword in His mouth to strike the nations (with His Word).

So could Jesus gather up the body of Christ on the year 5777? 

Yes, perhaps the rapture but it will not be the second coming. There are some who believe Jesus will return on 5777 – that is not possible, because His word in the scriptures and prophecies make it clear that Messiah returns at the end of the 7 year tribulation.  So yes, the rapture could occur at any time.  In fact some Hebrew scholars refer to 5777 as the “Year of the Messiah“. 

But we cannot put God into a box – maybe the rapture occurs on 5777, then again maybe 5777 is just a trigger date for a future rapture and the 2nd coming which occurs after the great tribulation period.

That said however, the following 1000 year prophecy brings hope that 2017 may indeed be the “year of the Messiah.”

The 1,000 year prophecy of Judah Ben Samuel

Rabbi Judah Ben Samuel was a Talmudic scholar in Germany. Just before he died, in the year 1217, he prophesied that the Ottoman Turks would rule over the Holy City of Jerusalem for 8 Jubilees (8 x 50 = 400 years).

The Turks indeed took control of Jerusalem 300 years after his death, in 1517, and his prophecy came to pass exactly 400 years later when the Ottoman Turks lost Jerusalem in 1917 to the British during WWI. 

The Rabbi went on to prophesy that after the 8 Jubilees, the 9th Jubilee would have Jerusalem being “a no-man’s-land”. The 9th Jubilee was from 1917 to 1967, and he was “right on” again with his prophecy. The Holy Land was placed under British Mandate in 1917 by the League of Nations and literally “belonged” to no nation, a “no mans land” just as the prophecy stated! 

The Rabbi then stated that in the 10th Jubilee “Jerusalem would be controlled by Israel”.  This occurred exactly as prophesied during the Six Day War of 1967, when Israel recaptured Jerusalem! His Prophecy continued, that “THEN” the Messianic end times will begin.

The “THEN” refers to the end of the 10th Jubilee,
& the beginning of the new, which would be 2017; the Hebrew Year 5777!

If this Rabbi was 100% accurate on everything else, we should take his Messiah Prophecy very seriously.

Could there be judgment in 2017 (5777) as well?

Yes there can be.  Blessings and curses can occur simultaneously, or in close proximity to each other. The NAZI holocaust triggered the rebirth of the nation of Israel (read Ez. 37),  making all end time prophecies regarding Israel having to be in her own land before Messiah returns to be able to come to pass. 

On Sept 28, 2008 in the midst of a global economic meltdown, the stock market crashed 777 points.  Could this be a harbinger of a greater economic crisis or collapse for America and the world in 2017, the Hebrew year 5777? 

In the book of revelation there are 7 seal, 7 vial, and 7 trumpet judgments (here we see the sequence “777” again). So could 5777 trigger the 7 year tribulation period to unleash these three series of 7 judgments upon an unrepentant world that has hardened its heart against the Sovereign God of the bible?

Yes!  But again, that does not mean that the tribulation will start in 2017 but rather, that it may start sometime soon thereafter. The Lord may hasten or delay the fulfillment of the end time prophecies according to His will. So I personally believe that 5777 may be a trigger point rather than a set date.

So will Jesus rapture the church in 2017 before the tribulation?  Well my brothers and sisters in Christ, we will know in just a few months.

But regarding His second coming, although we don’t know for sure when He returns; what makes us the body of Christ is because we know for sure in our heart that on one day and hour, He will return! Amen?
