10 Secrets for receiving Divine Healing

Miracle Healing

Miracle Healing

“When Jesus had called the Twelve together, he gave them power and authority to drive out all demons and to cure diseases, and he sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.”  Luke 9:1-2

Robert Rite (12/3/2016): It is hard for some to believe in miracle healing because they have not witnessed or experienced it themselves.  Yet there are many who experience divine healing every day.  Some folks refuse to accept that this world persists in a state of rebellion against a sovereign God; a fallen kingdom under the power of a cunning and powerful malevolent force.  We sojourn in the kingdom of the enemy, and this is why illness, pain and suffering will always be among the many experiences of this age.

Many illnesses are of natural causes, and others are self inflicted through unhealthy habits and lifestyles.  But there are also illnesses and afflictions caused by evil spirits of illness. And I will also cover the latter in this message.

Our health is important to our creator, and as we will now see, this is why He offers many examples and ways for us to overcome illness, and to achieve the quality of life that He desires for us. First let’s review a few obstacles.

“Why am I not being healed?”

Here are some reasons why People do not receive divine healing:

1) By far, the main reason many do not receive healing is because they do not have faith.  They fear their illness, because they fail to recognize their awesome spiritual potential!

2) They lack knowledge of the word of God related to healing.

3) God delays healing sometimes because he needs us to straighten out our spiritual life. Sometimes unresolved sin and unforgiveness in our heart will hinder deliverance.

4) They fall for the traditions and misconceptions of some spiritual leaders, such as the misguided beliefs that “sickness is the will of God”, “that God is testing my perseverance”, or “that the age of healing and miracles has past”.  These assumptions are not the reality.

5) We fail to receive healing because we break natural laws.  Many abuse their body (they smoke, drink, take drugs, eat unhealthy, overeat, etc.).

6) They Lack faith in divine healing or miracles.  Even some Christians today do not believe in miracle healing.

7) Because they harbor anger, unforgiveness, hatred, bitterness, and related impediments to healing.

8) Others have accepted their illness; they have given up and stopped praying for their blessing. And still others have even given up the fight to live and have accepted death.  God honors these choices as well.

9) Many may suffer an affliction that is borne by a spirit of illness which is keeping them in bondage to that illness.  Let’s review this further.

Spirits (Demons) of Illness

Some people do not believe in demons and they are the most vulnerable to illnesses associated with a demon spirit.  Demonic spirits can gain access through attitudes that reside in our hearts such as anger, hatred and rage.  So we want to avoid harboring these emotions and attitudes (Eph. 4:26-27).  Even careless words can open portals to the underworld.

These evil spirits of illness can not only cause an illness but can also obstruct the healing process.

After several failed attempts at healing, the seasoned Christian healer can surmise that it could be that a demon spirit is behind the illness and hindering its healing. So it is essential to first command the demon spirit to leave.  Once the deliverance has occurred, then we can resume commanding the healing to manifest.

It is precisely because the enemy loves to attack our health, that Jesus dedicated most of his brief ministry on Earth, healing the sick, and teaching us how to so the same!

10 steps for receiving physical healing

1) Stay immersed in the word of God.  The word of God provides healing to the mind, spirit and body. Let’s read:

“My son, pay attention to what I say; turn your ear to my words. Do not let them out of your sight; keep them within your heart; for they are life to those who find them and health to one’s whole body. Proverbs 4 vs. 20-22 says

2) Reconcile with God.  Confess all un-repented sin and turn back to Him. Consecrate yourself in preparation for healing.

3) Read, memorize and recite healing passages, there are many in the bible.

4) Have others pray for your healing.  There are also many Christian help lines, forums and chat lines that you can tap into, and they will pray with you for your healing.

5) Recognize that in God’s mercy, there are many ways for us to receive and administer healing including, prayer, over the phone, by email, Skype chat, laying of hands, a revelation or spoken word, the presence of the Holy Spirit, among others.

6) Have an active relationship with the Holy Spirit by asking the Holy Spirit to come into your life.

7) Make sure to also invite the Holy Spirit into all of your healing prayers.

8) Seek the face of God in solitude.  Find a quiet place where you can meditate on the healing scriptures and listen to the quiet voice of God.

9) Along with reciting healing passages, you can sing gospel music, worship and praise the lord regularly.  These are not only effective healing tools, but also an effective way to finally scatter those demonic spirits of illness that may be obstructing your deliverance.

10) Faith is our greatest healing mechanism.  But understand that healing usually manifests after many prayers, and it may take weeks, months or even years to occur. So wait patiently with faith – your deliverance will surely come.

Be patient, but rejoice in knowing that the healing process began the very moment that you declared your healing, in faith!

Great Faith Must be Nurtured

Understand that we are not born with faith. Faith must be continually watered and nourished to the point that it grows until we can heal ourselves and others.  It is our persistent prayers for deliverance that waters and nurtures the mustard seed so that it grows into that great tree of faith (read Matt 13:31-33)!

Traditional or Divine Healing?

Who said you should not seek both conventional and divine healing?  There is no reason to avoid medical attention whenever we need healing. God knew that most people would not have sufficient faith to heal themselves or their loved ones.  So in His mercy God created Doctors and hospitals as instruments of good, for those with little or no faith.  Regardless of our level of faith, we should always seek medical attention promptly for any life threatening condition.

Understand that faith and prayer can compliment conventional medicine.  It can make traditional medicine more effective and less intrusive. It can help prevent complications, while perhaps even expediting the healing process.  A win win situation to say the least.

Also God provides much more than just the physical healing that modern medicine tries to offer.  He provides spiritual and emotional healing as well.

The Lord created us all in his very image, so that upon claiming our authority, we could release supernatural  manifestations including, among other things, divine healing and an abundant life full of joy and fulfillment.

For us to reach our optimal spiritual potential here on earth, we must understand that the kingdom of God flows through us; His elect.  Only then can we realize how much kingdom power and authority we have.

So command that healing to manifest – do not beg for it!  A beggar does not have authority, but you do!

You are the receiver and the giver of healing, by the authority of the sovereign God of the universe!

A Prayer for Healing

“Lord God Almighty, I release kingdom power from heaven as I invite the Holy Spirit to manifest in me and heal me of my (be specific) illness.  I declare healing in the name and blood of Jesus Christ and His Word, I claim the legal authority to receive your healing right now, in Jesus name. The healing power of God is working in me, and I thank You Lord for my deliverance.”

You can command the sickness to leave, then command organs, bones ligaments (or whatever the case may be) to be healed.  Just be as specific as possible.

So don’t stop praying, and don’t lose hope – because that is exactly what the enemy wants you to so.  Just be patient and confident in your faith.  Keep expecting; your day of healing may come at any time.

My friends, there are so many souls out there who need healing.  Some are in great physical pain; others need emotional and spiritual healing.  So please feel free to share this message with anyone that may benefit from this message.
